Most of the time the village of Maicolpué is only visited because people fail to find anything interesting at Bahia Mansa, which is just a beach with a fishing fleet. This village is located 2km south of Bahia Mansa, so sometimes people who come to visit the beach will come here and stay too. Unlike Bahia Mansa, this small village has all forms of entertainment places, such as bars, discos, and some good value seafood restaurants, probably built for tourism purposes. For those who want to camp, there are some campsites available by the beach.
