HOME - Chile - The Lake District - Parque Nacional Huerquehue


Huerquehue National Park is located in the Andes, in the Araucanía Region of Chile, near Caburga Lake. The park encompasses 125 square kilometres of mountainous terrain. One of the most noteworthy features of the park are its forests of Araucarias.

Tourist Offices
There is a Conaf office at the entrance to the park, inside the Centro de Educación e Intepretación Ambiental.

Getting there
There are regular buses from Pucón and you can also get there on arranged excursions.
