One of the busiest national parks in Chile is the Parque Nacional Puyehue, which is located about 81km from Osorno. One of the reasons would be the traffic on the international road which runs through the national park. This park is huge, and in fact it’s part of a massive, 15,000 square kilometre area of protected wilderness. It is basically so huge that it borders another national park in the south and one on the north side as well. The park is located around two volcanoes, the Volcán Puyehue and Volcán Casablanca, which is a ski resort. Besides that, the park itself is divided into 3 parts; Aguas Calientes, Antillanca, and Anticura.
