This Neo-Gothic Sanctuary is a very unique and beautiful site, and it’s built on a stone bridge spanning a huge and deep gorge. This feature itself makes it famous, besides being a popular spot for pilgrims in need of a miracle in their lives. There is an image of the Virgin Mary here, who is said to have appeared centuries ago, which is why these pilgrims come here, to place their faith in her. There’s a church right on this spot, built some 60 to 80 years ago.

This town is 7km south-east of Ipiales, where you can find regular colectivos and taxis that will bring you here.
