The modern town of Grecia, despite being small, has some nice things to offer tourists. The centre of the town is the Catedral de la Mercedes, which was brought in from Belgium over a century ago. Around it are many other nice things, including the Casa de Cultura, where you can find Spanish colonial artefacts, Costa Rican cultural information, and much more.

Sightseeing
You should not miss the 18th century rock bridge either. There are many stories behind this bridge, including one which says that it was built by the devil, it is worth seeing for the only other rock bridge like this is in China. Another great place is the World of Snakes, which is famous for the endangered-snake breeding program. Here you can find over 150 snakes on display.
