If you’re on your way to Cabo Blanco and are looking for a place to use as your base camp—somewhere you are assured a hot meal and a shower (not necessarily hot, though)—look no further than Cabuya. Just 9km south of Montezuma, Cabuya is uninteresting and therefore, not busy, so you’ll always find a room and a place to eat. There are three unique and interesting hotels and the restaurants provide a variety of food, including pizza, seafood and veggies. During low tide, you can visit the beautiful cemetery, but watch the water levels.
