When you are tired of the overcrowded, overdeveloped, over-popular beaches in Costa Rica, that remind you of Los Angeles during rush hour, take a ride down to Paquera and from there get the bus to the Playa Pochote. Playa Pochote will offer you the peace and solace that you need to enjoy a wide range of activities, like beach hiking, swimming, kayaking, surfing and whale watching. The beach is backed by mangrove trees, although you shouldn’t try to hike through them since the land is unstable.
