If you’re hiking across Corcovado and you need a quick, cheap snack, guidance and tips on how to best see the sights and also a nice tall glass of ice cold water, there’s no better place to stop than La Palma. La Palma is just 9km south-east of Rincón and lies on the rough road and trail to Los Patos. There’s only one intersection in the whole town that has just one soda. The soda acts as the bus depot, the info-centre and the town’s breakfast nook, although they serve lunch and dinner to travellers as well.
