When you’re looking for complete solitude with little or no human interaction, look no further than Playa Nicuesa. Settled in next to Playa San Josecito and Playa Cativo, just a hop down the north-eastern shore of the Golfo Dulce, Playa Nicuesa is relatively deserted since few people are willing to make the extra effort to get there. Nicuesa offers primo swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing to its limited visitors and has many trails leading into the Parque Nacional Piedras Blancas. If you’re planning to stay a while, bring snacks and water—the nearest facilities are at your hotel.
