If you have an itch for something modern and it just has to be scratched, head on over to San Pedro, in the university district of Costa Rica. Right next door to Los Yoses, San Pedro shares some of the hottest night spots in Costa Rica with its neighbouring city. It has the highest percentage of bars and clubs around, so you shouldn’t have a hard time locating one. There are plenty of shopping malls, restaurants and hotels to choose from. The streets are unmarked, so make sure you pick out a landmark before venturing into the city.
