If you’re itching to get a good day’s work in, or just want to help out in the fight to save the indigenous agriculture and forests, then you should hop on over to the Reserva Biologica Durika. Durika is inside the Parque Internacional La Amistad and is easy to reach in a tour group—don’t try to drive in alone. You can take short hikes and tours or longer trips to the Continental Divide. You can also work in the farms for a few days—stay in the on-site cabins and eat in the well-stocked kitchen.
