One of the major attractions of Santa Teresita is the balneario or the spa. The swimming pools here have been formed out of natural springs and the water is cool and soothing. You can relax in the swimming pool and enjoy the surrounding view of Tungurahua and El Altar. You can even camp out for the night and feel the real thrill of being amidst nature. Reaching Santa Teresita is not a problem as it is well connected from Riobamba.

You can reach Santa Teresita from Guano by getting a bus from the main plaza, which will drop you at Santa Teresita, only a few kilometres away.
