Babahoyo is the provincial capital of Los Rios and has such a large population that the city looks quite crowded at times. It is situated in the centre of the flooding lowland and is surrounded by rice paddies and banana plantations. It makes for quite a pretty sight!

Getting there
You can reach Babahoyo by taking a bus from Guayaquil or Rioramba.
