Canoa is a small laid-back town on the Pacific coast. It's an excellent place to chill-out for a few days on the beach and practice your surfing skills. The beach is lovely and the waves can reach up to 2 metres, At low tide you can go exploring the caves at the north end of the beach.

Getting there
Every 30 minutes there is a bus connection with San Vincente/Bahia de Caraquez, from there four buses leave daily to Quito. There is also a bus route up the coast to Pedernales.
