HOME - Ecuador - North Coast and Lowlands - Río Verde


Rio Verde lies a few kilometres from Palestina de Río Verde. It is a coastal village and was the location for the shooting of Moritz Thomsen's memoir "Living Poor". It's also the starting point for the hike to the "Devils Cauldron", the most famous waterfall in Ecuador. It offers plenty of opportunities for bird watching, especially a large colony of frigate birds.
