This small village is scattered around a mountain shelf. If you’re a nature lover who enjoys being surrounded by beautiful scenery and nice people, then this place is a must-visit. On Sundays things liven up here, when the locals gather to play soccer, shop in the market and visit coffee joints. If you are here on Sunday, make sure you don’t miss the coffee factory, as well as the farms. Expect some nice woven handbags, handmade soaps, and crafts made by local women as well. Getting here is easy, you can take the buses to and from Otavalo.

Around and closeby
Another place to visit is the Nangulvi thermal springs, which are located next to the Intag River, they are rather over-developed for tourism though. Most of the people come during weekends to rest and relax, so during the week it's much quieter.
