If you want to escape from the highland chill, this area should be on your list. Rio Blanco is located in the lowlands area where the climate is hot and the land is fertile, with all kinds of vegetation and greenery. There are several tourist spots around here, including the Bospas Forest Farm and the Cerro Golondrinas Project. The first is located on the outskirts of Limonal, and is very popular for hiking and learning about tropical plants and preservation. The latter is where you can find further preservation of plants and forests.
