There's not really much to do in Ahuano. It's the end of the road on this side of the river, to go anywhere else you must first return to Tena and go on from there. If you do end up here then you may as well have a look around town. The old church is worth a visit and the antics of the school children can be quite entertaining.

Getting there
You can catch the bus from Tena to La Punta and then arrange a dug out canoe to take you across to Ahuano. The canoes are very regular.
