Located about two hours downriver from Coca, on Río Napo, is the catholic mission of Pompeya. You can get here by bus from the oil town of Shushufindi, as well as from Coca or Lago Agrio. This place has nothing much to offer, except for the Reserva Biológica Limoncocha. It used to be a very good place for game watching back in the old days, but after this area was developed thanks to the oil rig nearby, the place has lost its value.
