The Río Napo is a very slow and steady river flowing towards Peru and the mighty Amazon. There are some villages along the way, with some forests and fishing areas too. This place is known for it´s jungle lodges so it's not a problem if you end up staying here for the night. There are namely two settlements here, Pompeya and Limoncocha, which are two very nice places near the Reserva Biologica Limoncocha. This area used to be good for wildlife watching once, but nowadays there isn't much to see. The Yasuní National Park is also nearby.
