This famous village is located some 10km northeast of Quito on the Panamericana. Getting here is pretty easy and direct, for you can take the buses from Quito. Travelling out is also pretty convenient, for there are three different places in this small village where you can catch the bus.

Sightseeing
It is well known for the unique Ecuadorian folk arts, which particularly refer to the people making bread-dough decorations, such as small statuettes and Christmas tree ornaments such starts, parrots, Santas, candles, fish, and more. Just walk around the main street and you can find many stores selling these cute ornaments.
