Guayllabamba is a small agricultural town located 29 kilometres north-east of the city of Quito in northern Ecuador. The town lies in a river valley and it's a very fertile land. It's known for it's natural produce so you have to try the delicious fruits being sold form roadside stalls.

Sightseeing
The Zoológico de Quito is the largest zoo in Ecuador. It's home to a wide range of Asian and African animals as well as the native and rare Andean spectacled bear and the Galápagos turtles.

Getting there
There are regular buses from Plaza Italia in Quito to Guayllabamba.
