This small Pre-Columbian archaeological site is located some 5km north of La Mitad del Mundo, it is about 2,500 years old. This small site was built by the Quitu-Cara culture. In those days it was a ceremonial site during the equinox. It is officially open during weekdays from morning to 3 in the afternoon, but you can normally go anytime you want. It’s nothing much compared to other historical sites, but it is worth seeing. You can get to see some good views of Quito from here too.

Getting there
You can easily get to this site by taxi from San Antonio.
