The fishing village of Puerto Cayo has nothing much to offer to travellers, except for the naturally beautiful shoreline. The only place you can visit here is the Parque Nacional Machalilla, which is the country's only national park that is protecting the coastal habitats.

Getting there
Getting here is very easy; you just need to follow the coastal road south of Manta, and eventually you'll arrive.
