If you've been travelling around Ecuador for a while the chances are you'll be getting fed up with seafood. If you fancy something fresh and juicy, like a tasty-looking apple picked straight from the orchard, then the perfect place to stop is Jima. Jima is located just above the Río Moya and is accessible by bus from Cuenca, Presidente Cordova or Mariscal Lamar. You'll get great service and information from guides—they'll take you on day tours through the orchards or multi-day treks through the Orient.
