If you’re looking for the pleasantries of a quiet town and an opportunity to bask in the sun on clean beaches, you’ll want to head east of Corral de Mulas to the Isla de Méndez. Isla de Méndez is a quiet and enjoyable little fishing village that has only a modest tourism infrastructure—however, beware; Méndez is growing into what may soon be a tourist hot spot. The island has plenty of eco-adventures and clean beaches to offer—and is more easily reached by bus than its neighbour, Mulas, since it is deeper in the bay, to the east.
