This small village of Sumpango is located some 6km west from Santiago Sacatepéquez along the Interamericana. This place is also very famous for the Day of the Dead tradition but the larger celebration is definitely in Santiago. However, once in a while when the winds are dead there, the people come here hoping for better weather.

Getting there
Getting here is not a problem, especially during the fiesta days, when all the travel agencies and language schools are focused on tourism. You can easily get minibuses from the village of Antigua or take any bus that will get you as far as San Lucas Sacatepéquez and then get a connecting minibus from there.
