Sipacate is situated inside the Parque Natural Sipacate – Naranjo. It's a resort on the Pacific coast and probably the best place to surf in the whole of Guatemala. The black waters of the Canal de Chiquimulilla separates the beach from the village so passengers are ferried across by numerous boats. The surf is best between December and April.

There are six daily buses from Siquinalá to Sipacate.
