HOME - Guatemala - Petén - El Chal


El Chal is a set of ruins nearby a nondescript village of the same name. Restoration has begun but most of the ruins haven’t been restored yet. A few plazas, a ball court and a palace make up the body of this site, there are also some stelae and alters that have been intricately carved. The site is open from 8am – 5pm everyday and there is no charge for entering.
