La Ventana is one of the best coastal places in the country. It is nicely located 45 minutes from La Paz, and is known for its seaside activities such as snorkelling, diving, and windsurfing. You can get to see whale sharks, sea lions, whales, sea turtles, and all kinds of fish, during the less crowded periods.
