It stands as a regional capital and industrial centre these days. Unlike other colonial cities such as Guanajuato and Zacatecas, there’s not much to attract people here. However, the city centre is still quite pleasant. Pedestrian streets are everywhere possible and there are many plazas and nice old colonial buildings to visit.
