Tapalpa is a pretty little town, high in the hills; about three and a half hours drive south from Guadalajara. It’s very much a cowboy town, with rodeos every weekend. The town has really started to prosper, with lots of city folk building weekend homes here, the cool air being a much welcomed respite from the heat and hassle of the city.
