Just like anywhere else, the small town of Madera has its own special charm. The local people here are just so friendly, they will happily help you with anything. It is one of the main reasons why tourists come here, besides other reasons like nice food, beautiful sceneries, and more. The place is known for many natural gifts like mighty pine trees, salmon coloured cliffs, waterfalls, and a number of archaeological sites. This town is not a place for partying, it’s not meant for people seeking good nightlife. As for accommodations, there’s plenty of them here.

Around and closeby
Some natural sights would include Cuarante Casas and La Cueva de las Ventanas, although both these places are located pretty far from the town. But the long journey is really worth it because you will see exotic things like beautiful pine forests and huge caves.

Getting there
Getting to Madera is very easy as well, for there are a number of buses travelling daily from surrounding towns.
