Chacala is a small coastal fishing village situated 96km north of Puerto Vallarta and 10km west of Las Varas on Hwy 200. The location of the village is right between a beautiful little cove, backed by lush greenery, and rugged black rocks. This gives the village vivid looks that are perfect from a nature photographer’s point of view. The population of the village is just 500 and the lifestyle is far from that of an urban city. This lack of hustle and bustle makes Chacala a hot place for unwinding and idling away your time.
