Costa Chica, or the small coast of Guerrero, extends south east from Acapulco and has some spectacular beaches, which offer tranquillity, cool sea breezes and beautiful sunsets. There are some beautiful and strategic towns close-by like San Marcos with its marketplace and Cruz Grande providing basic services like accommodation, refuelling and banks.
