El Paraiso is a small town with a population of just 300 people. It is situated about 6km south of Cuyutlán along the coast although the road distance is 12km. It is a black beach resort town and a hot spot for Mexicans as well as Americans. El Paraiso is known for the beaches, which are less crowded and more tranquil. Some of the activities that you can indulge in include swimming, people watching, surfing, and turtle watching.
