Lázaro Cárdenas is an industrial city with almost nothing to offer in terms of tourist spots. It is famous for being the pit stop and junction for buses leaving for various towns and villages in Chile. Most people stop here to change buses or for buying provisions. It is 24 km before Playa Azul and has different types of accommodation available for overnight stays.
