Manzanillo is a port town that has recently been voted as the largest in Mexico ahead of Veracruz. With a large population of 130,000, this port town is 16km long. It boasts of some of the finest beaches from Playa Azul to Playa San Pedrito. If you move a little closer to the bay, you will reach Peninsula de Santiago. The main attraction of the town is the downtown area, where there is a recently introduced 3km boardwalk along the ocean and a seaside zocalo. This is popular for evening strolls in the breeze, while watching magical sunsets.

Sightseeing
There is plenty to see during the weekend from the waterfront boardwalk. Also visit the Swordfish memorial and the Museo Universitario de Arqueologia.
