Rincón de Guayabitos is a very unique town, because it is tailor made to cater to both beach going tourists as well as winter tourists from northern America. It’s an old, quaint tourist town with empty beaches. A laidback lifestyle dominates the town although you can enjoy some activities like swimming, fishing, horseback-riding and hiking. You can also explore the under water world while snorkelling or opt for the whale watching trips, which are popular from November to March. Located about 60km north of Puerto Vallarta, Rincón de Guayabitos is easily accessible by road. There are plenty of hotels here with eateries offering local seafood.
