Cholula is a city in the Mexican state of Puebla. It is famed locally for its lively night life. Its town centre and zócalo area are filled with a wide range of bars and restaurants that are popular with young people from local areas and especially from the nearby UDLA university. Cholula is most famous as the site of the Great Pyramid of Cholula, the largest man-made structure, by volume, in the world.

Tourist Offices
There is a tourist information centre at the corner of Calles 12 Ote and Av 4 Nte. It's open Monday to Friday, 9am - 7pm.

Sightseeing
The Zona Arqueológica is made up of tunnels around the pyramid, you can enter the site through a tunnel on the north side where there are guides that will take you on a tour through the tunnels.

The Patio de los Altares is on the south side of the pyramid, this Great Plaza used to be the main approach to the pyramid.

Getting there
There are regular buses from Mexico City, as well as buses and colectivos from Puebla
