The small town of Huamantla is a very historic place, though most of its visitors are youngsters. It’s a town of no more than 46,000 people. One of the most important places to visit is the Quaint Huamantla, which is a national historic monument dating back to five centuries ago.

Around and closeby
If you prefer to go out of town, La Malinche is just around the corner.

Sightseeing
If you are staying at this historical site be sure to visit the 16th century Ex-Convento de San Francisco, and the 17th century baroque Parroquia de San Luis Obispo de Tolosa. The Museo de Titere offers a fun stop for everyone by displaying dolls and marionettes from all over the world.
