This is another famous pre-Hispanic ceremonial site, located about 8km north-east of Cuetzalán by a paved road, and then another 2km via a cobblestone road. This site is well-known for it's pyramids, which are similar to El Tajin.
Although it’s a fairly small town, it still has a church and a town plaza, which is located at the entrance adjacent to the site.
Getting there
Since this place is a popular tourist spot, transport is readily available. You can board any colectivo out of Cuetzalán and then walk for about 20 minutes down from the stop. Or you can also try to catch a truck passing by the pyramids.
