Ciudad Acuña, also known simply as Acuña, is a city located in the state of Coahuila. It stands on the Río Grande which marks the border with North America and offers a border crossing with the neighbouring city of Del Rio in Texas. The town isn't very interesting, though a couple of films have been shot here, including El Mariachi and some scenes from Desperado.

There is a regular bus from Saltillo that will drop you here.
