Hierve El Agua is located a few kilometres eastward, past Mitla. Famous for the mineral springs, which run into bathing pools surrounded by spectacular views, their cliff-top location make them an ideal place to relax. There are maguey field all around, which produce some of Oaxaca’s best mezcal.

Getting there
Getting here is not difficult, there are buses and tours from Oaxaca. It’s a nice place to get away from it all for a while, but do check if it’s open before you travel there.
