HOME - Mexico - Oaxaca - Ixtlán


The small town of Ixtlan is located almost 3km from Guelatao. The most famous spot here is the Templo de Santo Tomas, where baby Benito Juarez was baptized. Something notable about this church is it’s finely carved façade. The town of Ixtlan offers activities in the form of guided hikes and mountain biking. There are some decent accommodations available. There is a regular bus service from Oaxaca.
