Santa Cruz Huatulco is well-known for its thirteen dive sites, the Parque Nacional Huatulco, Parque Ecológico Rufino Tamayo and rafting on the Copalita and Zimatan Rivers. Santa Cruz harbour is popular for snorkelling but if you didn’t bring your gear, you can always rent some from the lancha kiosk or at Playa Maguey. The magnificent diving sites in Santa Cruz Huatulco offer a variety of fish and corals. It is the easiest way to visit a sea aquarium replete with dolphins and turtles. It doesn’t matter if it is your first time because you can get a beginner session as well as a certification course. If you are looking for an on land activity apart from relaxing under a shade, you can also indulge in horseback riding.
