The tiny town of Malpasito is located in Tabasco’s beautiful and mountainous south-western region and is famous for being the site of mysterious ancient Zoque ruins. Also, it is one of the several communal land holdings in this region offering eco-tourism activities.

Getting there
This small village is situated 1km west from the Caseta Malpasito tollbooth and the junction on the new Coatzacoalcos-Ocozocoautla road. You can use public buses to reach here, they leave from Villahermosa and head towards Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
