This beautiful waterfall is located 20km south of Palenque, and it falls 35metres into a wide pool, surrounded by lush greeneries and vegetation. During the rainy season nothing much can be done here, but the rest of the time this waterfall is the ideal place for a dip. There is a path that goes up behind the main fall, which leads into the cave. In the cave you can get close enough to seeing the full power of the waterfall. Located about 1.5km off Hwy 199, it is easily accessible, and there is accommodation, as well as a restaurant close by too.
