Reserva de la Biosfera El Triunfo is located in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas, and is known to have some beautiful natural gifts. It is a bird lovers paradise and the forest here is rich with trees and shrubs covered with epiphytes, ferns, bromeliads, mosses and vines. The cool and lush cloud forests are actually formed from moist air rising from the hot and humid lowlands.

Sightseeing
The area where the Reserva de la Biosfera El Triunfo is located, the Sierra Madre de Chiapas, is in fact the home of more than 300 species of birds, one tenth of which can not be found elsewhere in the country. If you’re lucky, you might get to see some exotic birds like the stunning quetzal, rare horned guan, the azure-rumped tanager, the black guan, and the blue tailed and wine throated hummingbirds. Besides all these, the place is also home to hundreds of butterfly species and sometimes jaguar and tapir.
