Tizimin is a bit of a dingy looking little town, on the way to Rio Lagartos from Valladolid. There’s no real reason to come here, except to change buses, but if you do get stuck, there are a number of cheap places to stay. There are plenty of places to eat, but you may be better off buying a snack in the shop.
